75% of St. Aloysius Academy students arrive at school via bus. The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania provides courtesy busing to students residing within a ten-mile radius of the Academy. Parents contact the public school district of their residence to arrange for bus services.
Currently, school bus service is provided by the students' home public school districts including Colonial, Great Valley, Haverford, Interboro, Lower Merion, Marple/Newtown, Norristown, Philadelphia, Radnor, Ridley, Rose Tree/Media, Southeast Delco, Springfield, Tredyffrin/Easttown, Upper Darby, Upper Merion, Wallingford-Swarthmore, Westchester and William Penn.
In addition, St. Aloysius Academy contracts with a private bus company to provide bus service to students who live more than ten miles from the Academy. Those private buses serve the West Chester and Phoenixville areas. Parents pay a modest fee for these services.
Parents also have the option of personally transporting their child to and from the Academy. There is a circular drive at the Academy rear entrance for safe drop-off and pickup. Chartered buses transport students and teachers on field trips.
"Another thing about St. Aloysius is that they teach you to be a gentleman." Keenan Schneider, Class of 2019
